Author, Anastasia Blackwell at W Hotel Hollywood Gala following IFS Awards Presentation
Author of "The House on Black Lake" and "The Chamber of Curiosities", Anastasia Blackwell, co-stars in award-winning new thriller. She attended red carpet award ceremony at Regal LA Live where film, "Miriam Graves" won "Best Thriller". Gala followed at the W Hotel in Hollywood.

Anastasia Blackwell Co-Stars in Award-Winning Thriller at IFS Los Angeles Film Festival
Anastasia Blackwell, author of novel/screenplays, "The House on Black Lake" and "The Chamber of Curiosities" co-stars in award-winning new film. "Miriam Graves", produced by Cinefina, was awarded "Best Thriller" by the IFS Los Angeles Film Festival, and was nominated from hundreds of submissions for "Best Picture".
Anastasia Blackwell to attend Austin Screenwriters and Film Festival
Anastisia Blackwell will be in attendance for the 20th annual Austin Film Festival. The program features Jonathan Demme, Elaine May, Shane Black, Brian Helgeland, Barry Josephson, Callie Khouri, Vince Gilligan, Susan Sarandon, Norman Steinberg, and many other film luminaries.

Music Video Set To Shoot
The music video for The House on Black Lake is set to shoot in early April. The unique piece will be shot on a stunning ranch, owned by a prominent author, set in Sonoma. Trapeze artists from Trapeze Pro will lend their talents, and an actor, with breathtaking good, joins the cast to protray narcisisstic rock god, Georgie La Pointe.
The video will be filmed by award-winning cinematographer Frazer Bradshaw, and will incorporate unique sound design, with lyrics by author, featuring the singing talents of a female artist ready to make a big break out in the music industry. Keep checking for updates.
Cinematographer Frazer Bradshaw Nominee for Spirit Award
The cinematographer for The House on Black Lake trailer, Frazer Bradshaw, was nominated for a coveted Spirit Award this year for best first feature for his film Everything Strange and New. He wrote, directed, and filmed his deput feature. He joins other notable nominees, such as Black Swan, Winter's Bone, The Kids Are Alright, 127 Hours, Greenburg, and Rabbit Hole.
His first short film Every Day Here premiered at the SundanceFilm Festival, and went on to make three more shorts that played at major film festivals. He has worked on over 200 projects as a DP. He is a trained artist, with a unique eye for the visual and is considered within the indie world as a pure independent artist, respected for having never sold out.
Everything New and Strange was written and shot in 2007 and premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. It went on to win awards at festivals around the world, and continues to win him accolades as an indie pioneer.
He is a true artist, with an integrity few can claim.

A unique new teaser video for "The House on Black Lake" novel/screenplay incorporating original music with spoken word has been uploaded to You Tube. Features original video and music score by Peter Busboom and voice-over by author. The frightening piece follows a woman through a tunnel to a landing where she hopes to escape in a boat.
